A312 seamless pipe: your questions answered
What is the difference between 304L and 316L seamless pipe?
Both are low-carbon austenitic stainless steels. 316L contains molybdenum, which gives better resistance to chlorides and pitting, so it is preferred for marine, chemical and food applications. 304L is a cost-effective choice for general-purpose pipework.
Which schedules of seamless pipe do you stock?
Schedule 10S, 40S and 80S across most sizes, plus Schedule 120, 160 and XXS in selected sizes. The size list and chart above show exact availability.
Can you cut seamless pipe to length?
Yes. Tell us the lengths you need and we will cut them for you, from a single short piece to multiple cut lengths.
Is the pipe supplied with certificates?
Yes. All of our stainless steel pipe is supplied with full certification and traceability.
